Living simple AKA... simply living

Morning at the bach.
Life at the bach is a lot simpler than life at home. We really have got away from it all. Less stuff, no regular commitments, less people, only one shop.

And surprisingly we're not getting bored.

Our days have taken on a gentle rhythm of eating good food (lots of it gleaned from my mother-in-law's garden before we left Te Puke)...

playing at the beach...

playing at the bach...

watching the sun rise and set, cleaning and sleeping lots.

I am relaxing more and enjoying life more. It's lovely seeing the girls play all day long, just like I remember doing as a girl.

That said, having Internet access here is fantastic because we've been able to Skype Paul in San Francisco and stay connected with him. It's also nice to be able to look up recipes, peruse inspiring blogs and catch up with friends on Facebook. I don't feel completely isolated like I think I would without it.

Also, some good friends are in transit on their way up here for the weekend, which I'm really looking forward to.
