Blogging less. Living more

Hey friends,

I just wanted to let you know that I've decided to blog less this year. With Sophie getting more active and Lily growing up before my eyes, I don't want to blink and miss this time in their life.

My aim is to post around once or twice a week.

I'll also share other links that inspire me to Facebook and Pinterest, so be sure to follow Craving Fresh there so you don't miss out.

Thanks for understanding!

Cheers,

Emma

    1. Thanks Liz. The crazy thing is I have ALL these ideas about posts I want to write - just getting the time to write them is hard.

  2. Good for you, Emma! I not only support you, but am following suit. I dropped to 3X/wk posting at the beginning of the school year and have since dropped to 2X/wk and this week did not post at all. I am half tempted to give it up completely, but do still enjoy it. My reasons mimic your own... I felt compelled to post and didn't have time to get on the floor and play with my kids or arrange playdates (lest I be away from my computer). I was stressed and frustrated with my situation. This week, I didn't get on Facebook at ALL and I didn't post and I was much calmer and happier (despite working outside the home 4 days). It was a test and the blog didn't pass! I will look forward to your posts and your unique insights. I admire a woman who makes difficult decisions on behalf of herself and her family and commend you for putting life first!

  3. I can totally relate! I've been trying to spend less time online as well for the same reasons! My kids will be 4 and 8 this month and next.

  4. Good on you Emma. I love your posts, but your reasons for cutting back are so important. Good call.
