Bye bye garden

Just as spring is bringing my garden to life, I have to bid it farewell. We're moving to Wellington (7 hours drive away) and this is the last week I get to enjoy my lovely Hamilton garden.

I wish I could show you before photos of the yard, not that you would be able to see much for the overgrown weeds. Over the years I've tamed it back and planted lots of edible goodies, learning about gardening along the way. Here are a few shots I took today:
Leaves growing on raspberry canes.

Sage buds.

Asparagus spears.

Borage to attract bees.

Me and L sitting amongst the many lettuce plants that self-seeded.

Bye bye garden. Thanks for being so good to me.
