Tonight's dinner... and the many Craving Fresh posts that went into it

Tonight we ate Chargrilled Capsicum and Chickpea Burgers for dinner, and it made me happy (because I'm weird like that) to think about how many Craving Fresh posts I could link to from that one dinner.

Wanna see what I mean?
Chargrilled capsicum and chickpea hamburger.
Here goes:
  1. The recipe for Chargrilled Capsicum and Chickpea Burgers is posted here.
  2. My menu plan from the first time we tried this recipe is posted here.
  3. The Destitute Gourmet recipe book I discovered the recipe in is reviewed here.
  4. The recipe for the buns I used tonight is posted here.
  5. My technique for chargrilling and freezing the capsicum I used tonight is posted here.
  6. The chickpeas I used in the patty recipe were first soaked, cooked and frozen as described in this post
  7. The mung bean sprouts I threw onto tonight's burgers for extra nutrition and greenery were sprouted last week and my technique posted here.
  8. The spinach I used in these burgers is the from the same set of plants I put into my newly built raised garden way back in November - as posted here
  9. My article about how to cook spinach to reduce the oxalic acid in it is posted here.
  10. Thanks to your comments, I've added in one more link I forgot about - Jessica's research which suggests that eating raw spinach is OK after all.
So there you have it, a Craving Fresh linky party all in the one meal.

  1. 10 link to an over-arching post about why you want to eat fresh food? 9 is a nice number too though.
