Sunshine

There's nothing like a sunny day to get me itching to garden. Today I woke to a glorious Monday. Hardly a cloud in the sky, but not frosty like other clear days have been lately.

I don't have anywhere else to be today, so L and I are going to hang outside while I rip out my dying summer crops and dig in some compost. I'm also going to give my garden a general tidy.

Here are some before photos:
Tomato and bean plants need to come out.
Courgette plant ready to be pulled.
Another courgette plant that needs to come out.

After shots:
Beans and tomatoes are gone.

I've weeded a little and dug in fresh compost given to me by my mother-in-law

In my raised bed garden, I've pulled out a courgette, a few old basil plants and a cherry tomato, plus trimmed back my sage.

This garden doesn't get any sun over winter, so I'm just going to dig in some vermicast and leave it to rot down ready for spring.

What's been happening in your garden?
